Paul Joyce, EHS Senior Manager, Stanley Black and Decker

As an EHS Senior Manager with the Power Tools Group at Stanley Black and Decker, Paul leads environmental, health, safety and sustainability operations for Stanley Black and Decker sites in Maryland. Paul’s role also includes coordination of safety and sustainability best practices throughout the Power Tools Group Global Laboratory sites.

He serves on Stanley Black and Decker’s Maryland Impact Drivers for Sustainability Employee Resource Group who researches and implements sustainability projects to meet Stanley Black and Decker’s corporate goals of Carbon Positivity, Sustainable Water Use and Zero Waste to Landfill.

Paul has over 30 years of experience managing the environmental, safety and sustainability impacts of shipboard nuclear power, waste-to-energy, battery manufacturing, stationary refrigeration and air conditioning, evaporative cooling and research laboratory operations.

Paul earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from John’s Hopkins University. He lives in Parkville, MD with his wife Debbie and daughter Sarah. He is a US Navy Submarine Service Veteran and an avid sailboat racer.
