GARNER/BRANDYWINE TIRE CLEANUP. Design,

Scrap Tire Recycling Fund, which is
administered by the MDE Waste Management
Administration.
MES and its
Contractors have begun the remediation of the
Garner Tire Dump site in Brandywine, MD. Work
began in Ravine 5 in July 2009. An estimated
120,000 tires have been removed and disposed as
of February 2010.
The Site contains
an
estimated 1 million plus tires. The complete
removal of tires and restoration of the 30 acre
site will take several years.
