The Procurement and Purchasing Division procures all the supplies, commodities, equipment and construction services the agency requires.

Objective

The Division’s objective is the timely and cost effective procurement of equipment, commodities, supplies and services needed to support the operations of MES and its clients while maximizing contract opportunities for private sector businesses.

MES also sends its construction bid packages to a variety of associations, including but not limited to:

Potential bidders can access the 24-hour hotline by dialing 1-800-MES-0366 or 410-729-8502 to retrieve current bid information. The recorded message will give bid or RFP project identification numbers, bid due dates, descriptions of the projects, locations, site visits/pre-bid conference dates and MBE participation goals.
