MES created a mobile CFC recovery service to assist municipalities and counties in their efforts to comply with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Clean Air Act, Section 608—refrigerant recycling requirements.

The Act requires service practices that maximize recycling of ozone-depleting compounds, chlorofluorocarbons, during disposal of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.

Planning and Acting for the Future

Venting ozone-depleting compounds (CFC’s) used as refrigerants into the atmosphere while disposing of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment is prohibited.

Complying with EPA regulations can be complicated and time consuming. MES’s mobile CFC recovery service ensures the safe removal, recycling and disposal of refrigerants from appliances that enter the waste stream with pressurized systems intact.

The CFC recovery service comes to your site with certified technicians and certified CFC recovery equipment to do the job right. Proper record keeping is another important part of the job that we do for our clients.

Scrap metal prices are at an industry all time high. There is no reason to compromise scrap metal pricing in exchange for CFC recovery services.

With the MES mobile CFC recovery service, evacuated white goods remain at your site for your marketing benefit.
