was first created to oversee environmental
operations at state-owned water and wastewater
facilities. We have come a long way since this
first mandate, but our dedication to effective
operations has not changed.
With
more than three decades of experience responsibly
operating a wide
variety of environmental facilities, we continue
to be well positioned to meet the toughest
environmental challenges.
The
Environmental Operations group is divided into
three main divisions – Water and Wastewater,
Materials Handling and Solid Waste Management and
Cogeneration.
Each
of these divisions relies on experienced operators
and support from the agency’s engineering staff
to effectively operate everything from recycling
centers to wastewater plants.
MES is one of the few organizations with the experience, capabilities and
resources to build, finance and operate reliable,
state-of-the-art waste facilities. |
