Four sections make up the division including:

Waste remediation with responsibilities include providing operations and maintenance of the Hawkins Point Hazardous waste containment facility, environmental remediation of the Dundalk marine terminal, environmental assessment of the Martin Airport site, brownfields activities and overseeing the operation of the Days Cove Rubble Landfill.

Engineering support responsibilities include providing a broad spectrum of engineering services as well as solid waste/recycling program analysis and planning to other MES units and clients.

Special Projects responsibilities include evaluation of new business opportunities, development of proposals, and special projects management.

CADD Service Center responsibilities include assessment of new electronic systems capabilities, providing engineering drafting and design services using computer software systems, providing graphic aids for client presentation, report enhancement, hearing and meetings.
