Prospective Bidders/Offerors may now download MES procurements for Service contracts from this site by selecting the Project ID Number and following the instructions provided. Procurements for Construction contracts are posted on this web site are for informational purposes only.

Project Scope: MES is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors to convey from Poplar Island and place on Coaches Island 2,500 cubic yards of sand as part of the shoreline stabilization project at Coaches Island. The successful Bidder will be responsible for conveying sand from a stockpile (which will be created by MES) across 500 to 1,200 feet of water and placing the sand to the lines and grade as shown on the Contract Drawings and in accordance with the specifications which are enclosed as Attachment A. The estimated distance from the stockpile of sand on Poplar Island to the beach replenishment site on Coaches Island is approximately 500 to 1,200 linear feet across the shallow channel of water separating Coaches Island from Poplar Island. The Service will send addenda to all prospective bidders/offerors who were sent an IFB/RFP or who are known to have obtained the bidding documents. Addenda will be distributed within a reasonable time to allow bidders/offerors to consider them in preparing their bids/offerors. Bidders/Offerors must acknowledge receipt of all amendments on the face of the bid form. Failure to acknowledge an amendment may render a bid non-responsive.
