Applications Specialist
Maryland
Environmental Service has an opening for a Software Applications Specialist at our
Headquarters in Millersville, MD.
The
candidate selected will provide support of application software, and
architecture in development, system test, and production environments.
Qualifications
include:
-
Bachelor's
Degree in a programming related field; or an Associate of Arts degree plus
two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.

Knowledge
of geographical information system and global positioning technology,
including proficiency with Windows 2000/NT/XP/CE and mobile Operating
Systems, Microsoft Access, Visual Basic Applications and programming in at
least two or more of the following: Visual Basic, .Net, SQL, C-Sharp,
ADO.Net, C++, Java Script, XML or HTML. Familiarity with SQL Server.

To
perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word
processing software; spreasheet software; accounting software; inventory
software; development software; design software; internet software; order
processing systems; project management software; database software and
contact management systems.

Ability
to pass medical exam and obtain security clearance.

Valid
motor vehicle driver's license with less than 6 points.
