ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS SUPERVISOR

Maryland Environmental Service has a vacancy for an Environmental Systems Supervisor (Grade 5) at the Havre De Grace facility.  Responsibilities include supervising and assisting in the operation, monitoring and maintenance of one or more water, wastewater or industrial wastewater treatment systems.  Minimum qualifications include HS/GED, permanent operators certification equivalent to the facility, 5 years of progressively responsible experience as an operator responsible for operating, monitoring and maintaining water, wastewater or industrial wastewater treatment systems.  This experience must have included at least 1 year at these systems as a lead worker, or directing the work of other employees.  Must also have a valid driver’s license with less than 6 points.
