Maryland
Environmental Service has an opening for an Inspector I/II position,
Landspreading Option. Primary responsibilities include conducting field
inspections of bio-solids land application sites as performed by or for MES,
contractors, or clients. these activities may include monitoring and/or
operation of sites, preparation and submittal of reports to contractors,
clients, or other agencies. Candidates shall possess excellent written and oral
communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office software is also desired.
Minimum
requirements include graduation from a standard high school or GED plus one year
of work experience (for the Inspector I position) or three years of work
experience (for the Inspector II position). Applicants may substitute 2 years of
college education in a science, construction practices, or other technical field
for required work experience. A valid driver's license with less than 6 points
and the ability to lift 50 pounds is also required.
