MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR I

Maryland Environmental Service has a vacancy for a Statewide Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor I (Grade 5).  Primary responsibilities include mechanical maintenance associated with water and wastewater treatment facilities.  Minimum qualifications include Graduation from a standard high school or possession of GED equivalency certificate plus 7 years experience performing installation, repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical or electronic equipment in an industrial setting, including 3 years of supervisory responsibilities and a valid driver’s license with less than six points.

Note: Applicants may substitute Bachelor’ Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering for 4 years of the required experience OR formal schooling from an accredited vocational school with a major in a related field may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to 3 years of the required experience.
