ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS SUPERVISOR

Maryland Environmental Service has a vacancy for an Environmental Systems Supervisor at the Freedom facility to plan, coordinate and direct the daily functions of assigned operations facility and supervises equipment operating staff.  Minimum qualifications are HS/GED, 5 years of progressively responsible experience as an operator responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining water, wastewater or industrial wastewater treatment systems. This experience must include at least one year at these systems as a lead worker, or directing the work of other employees. Must have valid operator certification from the Maryland State Board of Waterworks and Waste Systems Operators for each category and class of treatment system to which the employee is assigned. Other requirements include a valid driver's license with less than 6 points, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
