ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST II

Maryland Environmental Service has a vacancy for an Environmental Specialist II (Grade 5) in Millersville, Maryland.  Responsibilities include providing senior project planning and technical support for environmental science, engineering, construction and planning activities and services.  Minimum qualifications include a Bachelors Degree in environmental science, engineering, ecology or a related field from an accredited college or university plus 3 years of experience in environmental science, regulations, engineering or management. One year of experience must have included responsibility managing environmental projects and providing leadership to other professional and technical staff and a valid driver’s license will less than 6 points.  Experience with gas monitoring, ground water sampling, report writing and data management is a plus!

Note: An applicable advanced education degree may be substituted for up to two years of experience.
