ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST II-IV

Maryland Environmental Service has a vacancy for an Environmental Specialist II for the Environmental Monitoring Division in Millersville, MD. Primary responsibilities include environmental program management, with a primary focus on health and safety, training, database management, inspections and reporting. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, valid driver's license with less than 6 points, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. 

In addition, 3 years of experience in a health and safety management focused environmental field is required with 1 year of experience having included responsibility managing projects and providing leadership to other professional and technical staff. Salary for this position is commensurate with experience. Position requires ability to obtain Security Clearance.
