INSPECTOR I

Maryland Environmental Service has a vacancy for an Inspector I (Grade 3) on Poplar Island in Tilghman, Maryland.  Responsibilities include operation and maintenance of the facility crew boats, inspecting dredging contractor activities, monitoring and operating spillways, preparation of reports and performing facility maintenance.  Shift work is required during some operation periods.  Minimum qualifications include Graduation from a standard high school or GED plus one year of related experience, a valid driver’s license with less than six points and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
