Environmental Specialist I-II

Maryland Environmental Service is hiring an Environmental Specialist I-II for the Dredging and Environmental Restoration Division located at Dundalk Marine Terminal in Baltimore. Primary responsibilities include implementing environmental regulations, providing support in the development and maintenance of monitoring databases, statistical analysis of data, maintenance of technical files, and report writing. Performs basic field studies, which may include the collection of field samples, data and other information. 

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in biology, environmental science, ecology, or related field, one-four years of related experience, valid drivers license with less than six points, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must be computer literate, specifically with respect to spreadsheets and word processing.
