ENVIRONMENTAL DREDGING TECHNICIAN I/II

Maryland Environmental Service has a vacancy for an Environmental Dredging Technician I/II (Grade 3-4) at the Poplar Island facility in Tilghman, Maryland.  Responsibilities include providing technical assistance and support to the operations and crust management operations.  Minimum qualifications include a graduation from a standard high school or GED plus two years experience in operations monitoring or environmental inspection (documentation of relevant environmental or marine activities) and a valid driver’s license with less than six points.  Computer literacy a plus!

Note: Applicants may substitute additional education from an accredited junior college or university for required experience at the rate of 30 undergraduate credit hours for each year of required experience.
