Dredging Division Chief

MD Environmental Service is hiring for the Division Chief position of the Environmental Dredging and Restoration Division within Technical and Environmental Services. This position will develop, direct, manage, and prioritize the work plan for the Environmental Dredging and Restoration Division which is responsible for providing comprehensive multi-disciplinary services for the planning, design, construction, site management and documentation of dredged material management project and facilities, environmental restoration and mitigation projects, and supporting services for clients of the Service. This position will be responsible for assuring that all services performed by the Division are cost effective, efficient and in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. The Division Chief of Environmental Dredging and Restoration Division is also responsible for initiating contact with potential clients, preparing proposals when appropriate, and negotiating contracts.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field plus nine years of experience, 5 years of which must be supervisory, in environmental, engineering, and/or marine activities project management or related activities that included leading or directing the work of others and comprehensive knowledge of environmental practices, regulatory issues and programs, facility management, safety, and marine activities.
