Maryland Environmental Service is working with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Maryland Department of the Environment to present a day-long workshop on developing public/private partnerships to help meet the costs of stormwater retrofits. The P3 Workshop will be held at the Miller Senate Office Building in Annapolis on Thursday, September 26. MDE Secretary Robert M. Summers will kick-off the workshop with remarks at 9:30am.
Dr. Andrew Sawyers, Director of the EPA’s Office of Wastewater Management, will present the keynote address during lunch. Dr. Sawyers will overview efforts at the national level to leverage public and private dollars to better address water infrastructure needs in communities.
